How is the CARRY Brush made?
We are tired of giving ourselves a dirty water shower when cleaning our CARRY Bottle with the bristles of our bottle! That is why we have lovingly developed the CARRY Brush, which uses much less material than conventional brushes in order to save resources. Thanks to Its semi-circular shape allows you to reach the bottom and edges easily. When you pull it out, you simply turn the bristles away from you and stay dry. The 36 cm long handle is made of untreated beech wood and bio-based bristles made from castor oil.
Why do the brushes have a loop?
The bottle brushes have a loop made of recycled PET felt, which is made from the leftover cuttings from our protective covers. The loop is ideal for hanging up the brush.
For drying
Since the brush is made of untreated wood, it is important that it is always dried well after use. To do this, you can hang it up using the loop. This way it stays free of germs, hygienic and you can use it for a long time.
For neat hanging
You can hang your brush on the loop so that it has a fixed place and doesn't fly around. It also looks very decorative :)
Why do the brushes have so few bristles?
The CARRY Brush has fewer bristles than many other bottle brushes. The long bristles on one side are very flexible and can clean every nook and cranny. The short bristles on the head of the brush are a bit stronger and can be used to thoroughly scrub the bottom of the bottle :)
Save resources
Fewer bristles mean less material is used. This is in line with our sustainability philosophy and saves resources :)
Good cleaning
Although the brush has fewer bristles than most other brushes on the market, it cleans the bottle just as well!
No water splashes
Because the brush only has bristles on one side, much less water splashes when cleaning and when pulling the brush out of the bottle.
Why are the bristles made of bio-based plastic?
The bristles are made from a bio-based plastic based on castor oil. We have deliberately decided against conventional bristles made from petroleum-based plastic and also against natural bristles.
Odourless
The bioplastic is odorless, even after repeated contact with water. This is particularly important for the bottle brush, as it must be hygienic and should not give off any odor to the bottle.
Elastic
The bio-based plastic makes the bristles elastic and flexible. This ensures a particularly good cleaning result and more fun when washing up :)
Sustainable
The bioplastic is more sustainable than conventional petroleum-based plastic. In addition, the bioplastic is more durable than bristles made from completely natural material, which also makes it more sustainable.
