In our shop! Products become more and more sustainable the longer you use them, and so do our CARRY Bottles. That is why we have designed our bottles to be robust and durable. If a lid gets lost, broken or you just want a second one to change - you will find the Lid including sealing disc, and only the Sealing disc, in our shop.

You should clean the cap of your CARRY Bottle regularly to avoid odors and bacteria. Pro Tip: Remove the sealing disc for cleaning so that the space between the lid and the seal is also properly cleaned. Then let both parts dry and then put the sealing disc back in.

You can clean the cap by hand with a dishwashing brush or the CARRY Brush. Or you can put it in the dishwasher - we recommend placing the sealing disc in the cutlery basket and the lid on the shelf above the glasses.

Many reusable drinking bottles on the market come from Asia, are manufactured without recycled raw materials and are not particularly durable. It's different with us: we produce drinking bottles that are not only reusable, but also sustainable in production and over their entire life cycle.

We have a short transparent supply chain, sell products with Donation share, use sustainable and recycled materials and find a use for our B-stock. It goes without saying that our products are also functional, durable and good for your health.

We want to bring joy with our sustainable products and make sustainable choices easier for you. At the same time, we aim to develop further in all dimensions of sustainability - ecologically, socially and economically.

The core of our sustainability strategy is ourregional short supply chainthat we can trace back completely.

Thanks to the short supply chain, we save a lot of emissions, maintain good contacts with our suppliers and can ensure the highest quality standards. Our production is in Hehlen, a small town in southern Lower Saxony. Only about 40km away in Holzminden is the glassworks where our glass blanks are made from recycled glass. Once they arrive, we check the quality of the blanks and print them using an energy-saving printing process in which organic printing inks are hardened with UV light. Plastic-free packaging, avoiding waste and solar power from our own roof are a matter of course for us :)

Our CARRY Bottles should be as sustainable as possible - from the materials, to the production, to the use! That's why we use regional and recycled materials and, right from the product design stage, we think about how the products can be disposed of well and sustainably.

Our Drinking bottles are made from recycled glass, quartz sand, lime and soda and the drinking glasses are the upcycled B-stock drinking bottles. The Closures are made of FSC-certified upcycled wood fibers and polypropylene. The Sleeves are upcycled from PET bottles and the Brush are made of FSC-certified wood and bio-based bristles. Our product packaging is made of FSC-certified grass fiber cardboard.

Nobody is perfect. We make mistakes too. But if bottles with visual defects are produced during our production, we unfortunately cannot sell them normally.

Throwing them away or putting them straight back into the glass melt would be a waste of resources, because these drinking bottles are too100% functional. Therefore, we have our B-Stock Shop and our Surprise bag with these same glass bottles with flaws.

Our bottle is produced in Lower Saxony and is made of lead-free, harmless soda-lime glass.

The glass is made from recycled glass shards from the region's waste glass containers, as well as a small amount of lime, soda and quartz sand. The transparent CARRY Bottles use around 60% recycled glass and the Green Bottles use around 80-90% recycled glass. The use of recycled glass is particularly energy efficient: for every 10% of shards used, the energy required in the glass melting process is reduced by around 4%.

The remaining 10-40% of the glass consists of primary limestone, quartz sand and soda. This small proportion of primary raw materials ensures that the glass is homogeneous and clear.

Our bottle is completely recyclable! Unlike borosilicate glass, for example, our bottle made of soda-lime glass can be recycled in normal glass recycling containers. And then it is processed into new bottles :)

Yes, the drinking bottle is dishwasher safe!

You can also clean the lid and the sealing disc inside in the dishwasher. To do this, simply remove the silicone disc from the lid and place it in the cutlery compartment.

After cleaning, you can dry both components thoroughly and press the silicone disc back into the lid.
When cleaning in the dishwasher, it is important that no objects such as a knife scratch the bottle, as these can damage the print.

You can of course also clean the bottle by hand or with a brush. This is particularly gentle on the print :) The main thing is that you clean the bottle and the lid regularly. This way they stay germ-free and odorless and you can enjoy your bottle for a long time.

In addition to still water from the tap or from the water dispenser, you can also fill your bottle with other drinks. Our bottles are designed so that they can also be used for carbonated water. This is why the glass of the bottle is particularly robust.

Please note: When filling your bottle with carbonated drinks, you should always make sure that there are no cracks or dents in the glass. If the glass already has small cracks, we can no longer guarantee that it can withstand the pressure of the carbon dioxide.

Yes, our drinking bottles are leak-proof, even with carbonated drinks. There is a sealing disc inside the cap. This allows you to carry your bottle in your bag or backpack without any problems. However, you should always check that the lid is securely on the bottle and screwed on properly. This is the only way to ensure that the bottle is leak-proof.

Yes! With a CARRY Bottle you live healthily and sustainably. Unlike plastic bottles, our glass bottles are 100% BPA-free, contain no plasticizers and do not contain any other harmful substances. This is because glass is a material that does not absorb or release any (harmful) substances. The lid and the silicone disc are also food-safe and free of BPA and other harmful substances. This means you can enjoy your natural drinking water on the go with a clear conscience and do something good for your health.

The drinking bottle is made of robust glass so that it can accompany you in everyday life for as long as possible. It is so-called soda-lime glass, which is made from natural raw materials such as sand. The bottle offers you protection against breakage in the event of minor impacts. Nevertheless, glass remains fragile, which is why you should protect the bottle from falling from a great height.

Yes, you can fill the bottle with hot water and make yourself a tea in it. A tip from the team: We even use the CARRYs as a teapot and hot water bottle at the same time 😊

PLEASE NOTE: Glass does not like extreme temperature changes and can crack. To avoid thermal shock, pour the hot water into the bottle very slowly or pour in a little lukewarm water first and mix in the hot water. The lukewarm water also has the advantage that you can drink the tea more quickly and you can handle the bottle better because it does not get as hot.

The "horizontal wave" in the middle of the bottle is called the feeder wave. It is caused by temperature differences in the glass during production. When the drop of glass falls into the mold, the glass on the walls of the mold cools down faster than in the middle. The glass is then blown away from the mouth of the bottle, with the hotter glass in the middle moving faster than the cooler glass at the edge. The feeder wave is created. It is not a sign of poor quality, but a completely normal characteristic of glass bottles. The bottles are not affected in their stability or function as a result. :) As soon as the bottle is filled with water, the feeder wave is no longer visible!

The two vertical "seams" in the bottle are called bottle seams or press seams. They occur where the two halves of the bottle shape meet. Over the course of a production process, the strength of the seam can increase slightly. For sustainability reasons, we have decided to accept these small cosmetic defects and thus dispose of fewer bottles. The bottle seams are a production-related property of our glass bottles and they do not affect the stability or function of the bottles.

No. The lid is made of 25% wood fiber and 75% polypropylene, a petroleum-based plastic. Plastic is not always bad, it depends on the production, use and disposal. The decisive factors for our decision were the application possibilities and product properties of plastic, as it is dishwasher-safe, food-safe and waterproof. There are many drinking bottle manufacturers that advertise a wooden or metal lid, but we have not yet found a lid made of 100% metal or 100% wood. A pure wooden lid would not be suitable for permanent contact with water, but would quickly smell and become moldy. A pure metal lid does not seal, so the bottle would leak. Such lids would also not be dishwasher safe. That is why we have opted for a plastic lid with wood fibers. This way we only use two materials and offer maximum functionality. You filled your CARRY with a hot drink and when you opened it again, the sealing disc was stuck to the bottle opening? That's how it was intended. We deliberately designed our cap so that the sealing disc can be completely removed and the cap and seal can be cleaned thoroughly. This two-part system prevents bacteria and ensures that you can use your CARRY for a long time. Because the sealing disc is only pressed into the lid instead of glued, it stays stuck to the bottle opening when there is a negative pressure in the CARRY Bottle. This happens especially when there are temperature fluctuations.

Your sleeve is tailored precisely to your CARRY and protects it against shocks and light impacts. The sleeve also insulates the bottle, keeping the contents warm and cool for longer.

The sleeve not only fits the CARRY, but also all bottles with the same diameter. The 0.4L and 0.7L sleeves are therefore suitable for all bottles with a diameter of approx. 7.3cm and the 1L sleeve fits a diameter of approx. 8.3cm

The sleeve is made of felt made from recycled PET bottles. The loop is made from a cotton strap and the label is made from Papyr, a washable paper alternative. All components are free from animal products and therefore the sleeve is vegan 😊

To produce the felt, the PET bottles are first collected, sorted by color and shredded. Then they are used to make fibers, which are then processed into mats and dyed.

The sleeve is produced in Bavaria. The felt mats are delivered there on bales, the shapes are punched and then the individual parts are sewn together by hand.

You can carefully remove lint from your sleeve with a lint shaver. You can also wash the sleeve in the washing machine at 30°.

Basically, our CARRY Sleeves are designed to fit tightly on your CARRY Bottle and prevent your bottle from falling out. The sleeves are a little tighter at first and expand slightly the first few times you use them.

If your sleeve is sitting very tightly on your CARRY Bottle, you can hold the bottom of the sleeve and twist the bottle out of the sleeve instead of pulling it straight up.

The brush handle is made of untreated beech wood, so it is 100% bio-based. The bristles are made of 95% bio-based castor oil and 5% additives such as dye. The loop is made of recycled PET bottles and is a true upcycling product.

Our bottle brush is a real all-rounder! You can use it for your CARRY as well as for any other glass bottle or carafe with a bottle neck of at least 2.5cm in diameter. It is also great for cleaning baby bottles as well as delicate champagne and wine glasses! And you can also get bottle caps really clean with it.

The brush is about 36cm long, so you can easily clean even tall containers.

It's best to store the brush hanging or standing so that it can dry properly. The brush has a loop made of felt made from recycled PET bottles. This is a great way to hang the brush up. Alternatively, you can simply lean it against a wall. 😊
