Do you want to know how sustainable we really are and what impact a CARRY Bottle generates?
For us, sustainability is a fundamental value that we take into account in all our decisions. Often there is no single sustainable solution, but we have to consider all perspectives in order to find the most sustainable compromise for us in this situation. We do not see sustainability as a criterion that can be ticked off, but as an attitude and a willingness to continuously improve .
We do our best to make our activities and decisions as transparent as possible. We are happy to answer your questions and look forward to your feedback :)

Sustainably manufactured in Germany
Holzminden
In Holzminden, just 40 km from our production in Hehlen, the glass blanks for our CARRY Bottles are produced in the OI Glass glassworks. Thanks to our good cooperation, we were even able to visit the glassworks and take a closer look at the glass production process. That was really impressive! ✨
Hehlen
Hehlen is a small town near Hameln in southern Lower Saxony. Our sister company (PSL GmbH) prints our CARRY Bottles there. Our employees Mesut and Antonia are also constantly on site and take care of warehousing, shipping, quality control and the implementation of our individual printing projects.
Berlin
This is where we have our office, two cozy rooms in a colorful office community right on Nollendorfplatz 🌈 In Berlin, 8 team members are based and take care of new designs, marketing, our customers and individual printing projects.
CARRY Sleeve
Our CARRY Sleeves are manufactured by a partner company in Bavaria. This is a women-run family business that places great value on sustainability :)

Our lids are manufactured by a partner company in Hesse. This is a women-run family business that actively supports us in the further development of our lids and in the search for sustainable materials. 🌳
The core of our sustainability strategy is our short regional supply chain , because this way we save a lot of emissions, maintain good contacts with our suppliers and can ensure the highest quality standards. Our production is in Hehlen, a small town in southern Lower Saxony. Only about 40km away in Holzminden is the glassworks where our glass blanks are made from recycled waste glass. Once they arrive at our premises, we check the quality of the blanks and print them using an energy-saving printing process in which organic printing inks are cured with UV light. Plastic-free packaging, avoiding waste and solar power from our own roof are a matter of course for us :)

We are also continuously improving the impact of our products beyond the supply chain! We combine ecological, economic and social aspects . Our products spread joy, save plastic and encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. We support various projects with donations in kind and money. And as a team we are committed to sustainable and social issues!

Our contribution
Impact through donation projects
In addition to our internal sustainability efforts, we support various external projects through donated drinking bottles and monetary donations. Among other things, we donated our 2021 VAT to the a tip:tap eV association and supported various organizations, such as the Berlin Women's Shelter and Real eV, with bottles.
We present our three larger donation projects, which are linked to our designs, in more detail in the slides. We are delighted that the designs with donations have been so well received by you :)
With every sale of our design "LET THE BEES BE" we donate to the creation of 1 m² of flower meadow as a new habitat for bees, bumblebees and co. 🐝
We always make our donation at the end of the year. By May 2024, we have already donated 708 m² of flower meadow together!
View productWith every sale of our design "BOOBIES" we donate 1€ to the Breast Cancer Germany Association. This association is committed to independent research and education on the subject of breast cancer ✨
In October 2023, we donated 163€ against breast cancer for the first time! We will always transfer further donations in April in order to support the association with our donation countercyclically to Breast Cancer Month.
View productThe design "INTO THE WOODS" was our first design with a donation component - a whole €5 per bottle! This is a limited edition and you can still purchase one of the last bottles.
With our donation to the Green Forest Fund, we have regenerated 150m² of German primeval forest and protected it for the long term! 🌳 Using the coordinates in the design, you can see exactly where this forest area is located - namely in the UNESCO biosphere reserve in Brandenburg.

Certified by the GWÖ
In order to have our sustainable activities externally audited, we took part in the Common Good Economy (GWÖ) certification process in 2022. This took about half a year, during which we met every two weeks with a peer group and two consultants. We examined every fiber of our company and at the end received a certificate with a great rating 🌳😍
A very important part of the process for us was the exchange with other companies and consultants. This enabled us to learn an incredible amount and gather great ideas on how we can become even more sustainable. You can find more information and updates on our blog !
