It all started with a self-made screen printing machine. In addition to her painting, Hanna printed shirts with it and sold them to family, friends and at street festivals. During her philosophy studies, she met Alex, with whom the idea of ​​turning her hobby into something bigger solidified. They received great feedback after the first trade fairs. After the two of them took a short break in Valencia and Portugal, respectively, they both moved back to Germany and founded the LIGARTI animal factory together. Their idea is to "gradually bring Hanna's art world to high-quality products that are made with hand and heart."

Hanna's illustrations show funny, cute and beautifully drawn animals and are printed on products such as cups, natural stone tiles and jute bags. You can now also find printed socks and chocolate. Ligarti is characterized by unique designs and its own factory, where high-quality products are created. Ligarti produces some of its products in its own factory, and for individual products they work closely with partners in Europe. All of Ligarti's motifs are designed and hand-painted by Hanna. Hanna is an artist from Wuppertal who discovered her passion for painting in her childhood. She is particularly fascinated by the animal kingdom. With her drawings, she brings an entire circus to life. Born in Wuppertal, with Hungarian roots, she studied philosophy and lovingly brings delicate bird feathers, sleepy sloths and curious meerkats to paper. At the same time, she creates abstract and colorful worlds that allow you to immerse yourself in the impressive world of art.

Animal protection in Berlin

Whether it's a dog, cat or rabbit - who can compete with their big, black, button eyes? We certainly can't, which is why we want to support those who don't have a loving owner. For every CARRY Bottle RAMEN CAT sold, we donate €1 to the Berlin animal shelter.
It is Europe's largest animal shelter with an area of ​​16 hectares - that's about 22 football fields! You'll find four large cat houses, six large dog houses, one for small animals, a bird house and a large enclosure for wild cats. There is even an animal welfare farm with pigs, sheep, chickens and an exotic animal station with reptiles. The site used to be a pig fattening facility, but now abandoned and found animals are brought here and cared for. Until hopefully the next owner comes to pick them up :)

There are twists and turns in life when people and animals have to part ways. Sometimes the owner's allergies or other illnesses, sometimes a move or a new job are the reason for such a step. Pets can be dropped off at the animal collection point every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the daily care and entertainment of the animals, the main task of the animal shelter employees is to find them a new and animal-loving home. When they arrive, the animals are examined first, as they are often in a neglected state. In the animal shelter, they are nursed back to health and given as much love as possible. Nevertheless, it can only be a temporary solution andA real home is sought for each animal.
